Each patient receives individual and personalized care. We normally complete the medical history, review of medical records, physical examination, and diagnostic testing in one to two days. Patients with complex medical problems may need an additional day or two to
complete their work-up. Please forward a copy of your medical records at least one week prior to your initial visit so that we may review them and keep them for our files. After your consultation, we will discuss any testing needed to diagnose your medical problems and then proceed with the testing. The results from these laboratory tests may take up to three to four weeks to process. We only use nationally approved and certified reputable laboratories. Once all your test results are in, we will call you and discuss your results and treatment plan or, if you should so desire, you may come to our Center to personally discuss them. We are happy to provide you or your local physician with copies of the test results. Treatment can be done with us sending you prescriptions, treatment plans, etc. We see
patients from all continents and are used to doing this long distance. We will require you to return to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatments prescribed. This is usually done at three to four month intervals. Depending on your medical condition, these visit intervals may be shorter or longer.
About our Fees
Dear Patient:
Your fee is based on the time the doctor spends with you during your visit, the complexity of your medical condition, and any treatment we provide. Proper attention to< your care also requires that the physicians – or members of my staff – spend additional time beyond that in which we spend with you in the office. Such time may be used to:
Create or maintain your permanent medical record.
Review, interpret, and correlate previous medical history with previous medical
records, environmental reports or MSDS sheets.
Review current X-ray or scan reports, compare them with reports of previous
scans and when the studies are abnormal consult with the radiologist.
Prepare and mail consultation reports and letters suggesting patients come in for a
follow up visit.
Consult via phone about your case with referring or consulting physicians and
other health care providers.
Prepare referral letter to additional specialists, as needed.
Prepare patient educational materials.
Conduct medical research relevant to your medical conditions and problems.
Communicate with pharmacies about your prescription.
Review and manage hospital records.
Draft letters of necessity to obtain medical services or prescriptions that you need.
Arrange for hospital admissions and follow up consultations with nurses,
attending physicians and house staff.
Draft reports and forms, including home health care orders and nursing facility
orders.
Review current medical and scientific literature as it relates to your medical
history.
All these activities add to the cost of providing the level of care you expect. Still, we are
committed to providing you the best possible care at the lowest cost. We hope this
explanation of our fees has been helpful. With you, our patient, we look forward to a
lasting and healthy relationship.
Sincerely,
Medical Center for Immune & Toxic Disorders
CANCELLATION POLICY
Our appointment book is the most important item in managing the office and time for our
patients. It requires the attention of the doctor’s staff and the participation of our patients.

give us two (2) business days notice for all cancellations or rescheduling to avoid the
charge of $200.00. This will enable us to give the time reserved for you to someone who
needs it for a medical problem.
If your appointment is on a Wednesday, please call us by Monday morning; if your
appointment is on a Monday, please call us by Thursday morning, and so forth. This will
allow us to serve our patients and prevent the charge of $200.00 to be applied to you.
